Prof.Nurah Mohamed

Prof. Nura Mohamed is the Director General, at the Kenya School of Government, where he is responsible for providing leadership and direction on long-term, medium term and day-to-day management of Finance, Information Technology, Human Resource and Administration functions of the School. Prof. Mohamed holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Central University of Finance and Economics, China, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the same University Prof. Mohamed is a public sector leadership and transformation expert with over 23 years’ experience in public sector reforms, performance management, finance, audit and planning. He possesses remarkable wealth of experience in providing strategic leadership in various reforms in Governments. While serving as the Director Finance and Administration at Zanzibar University in Tanzania, he successfully spearheaded the university transformation processes. He is a consultant, researcher and adviser in the areas of public policy, organisational transformation and re-engineering of various government reforms and management. Prof. Mohamed research interests include Public Finance, Public Sector Reforms, Performance Management, Training and Knowledge Management. He teaches Public Sector Finance, Transformational Leadership, Governance and Management. His Excellency President awarded Prof. Mohamed Elder of the Burning (EBS)
