@SingoeiAKorir in hosting a delegation from The UK Royal College for Defence Studies (RCDS) who are on a study tour in Kenya and visited the State Department for Foreign Affairs. Amb. Maikara termed the visit as a testament of the friendly relations between Kenya and the UK, underpinned by the strategic partnership framework signed in 2020. He lauded the collaborative efforts between the two nations in pursuing common matters across various crucial pillars, which include; mutual prosperity, security and stability, climate change, sustainable development and people-to-people relations. Presentations by Ms. Lenah Nyambu, Director, Peace and Security, Dr. RoseMary Anyona, Head, Climate Change and Environment Unit and Ms. Judy Njau, Directorate of Economic Affairs and Commercial Diplomacy focused on the nexus between climate change & peace and security as well as sustainable development in the region.
